More about MANGO!! Aug/Sept

Hi...I'm Mango the hiking cat and we are in The Mustang hills.  This is my fave human hiking photo!

I love to soak up the morning dew.....
....and the fresh forest smells

I love to climb trees from time to time.  This really freaks out my humans, as they worry that I might climb to high and they won't be able to get me down.
Must be Mustangs in those Mustang hills....
I don't think Mr. Coyote wants to be my friend.

Micro fresas
Leading one of my humans up Powderface ridge

Rainy falls
I'm sampling a Carl's Jr veggie burger

Belly River....4km from the Montana border. My first time camping!

Only place in Alberta that we could have a campfire!

Roasting plantain
The purrrrrrrrfect roasted marshmellow
Playing in the hammoc is what I love most about camping.  What can I say....I'm just WAY too cute~!

The Chief.  Just across the border in Montana.  Climbed that one about 5-6 years ago.
Garden wall....Glacier National Park Montana
Mt. Clement in the background. Climbed that too.

I like to crawl into my special home, when there are too many humans around.
Going to the Sun road.
When in the US....
Whitefish lake
free camping in Montana somewhere near the border

Will you join me in my morning Yoga routine?
Please?
Please Ramon?  You nap more than I do!
Hi...I'm Mango the hiking cat....who are you?

Thimbleberry

Hanging with my crazy cousin

Look at me go!
I'm not crazy about getting my feet muddy.

My humans really love me!
Mesa butte

Rolling with Rudy...on the Bow river rapids
It reflects well on Rudy, that he keeps his espresso machine so clean.
And has 3 drawers of running shirts from all his races over the years!

Hi...I'm Mango the hiking cat....wanna be friends?

Sometimes I imagine that I'm a Mountain Lion ready to pounce!
....they really do love me!

I'm not just a hiking cat, but a climbing one too.
I'm ripped!

On my way to Sparrowhawk Tarns.  My longest hike to date. 14km. Well....my humans did carry me for a while.

Judging from the way Carla squealed when she got in the water, I think I'll pass and just soak up the sunshine.

Just woweee....my oldest human, known as Papa, knows all the best, peaceful places.

...pretty cool fossils!

Mr. Marmot ran away from me.

Time to show those cannines a thing or two about hiking.
This is the way it's done!
Carla loves a rainy day

I love to hunt dragon flies
....oppsy.  I'm OK with muddy paws, as long as there is a lake nearby to wash myself.

I know not to get  too close

My espresso machine....not as fancy as Rudy's.  And 3 of my favorite fruit!
Wake up and play with me!

How do you like my stylish life jacket?
My SUP debut
I didn't know i was going swimming!
My humans like it better than i do.

My very own sleeping bag.
Lillian lake near Invermere

On our way to Cobb lake

I get the best views, from my back perch, even with my eyes closed.
Ramon's new steed.  I kept the road bike with the drop bars.  He's suppose to ride it to Uni.  Still working that!

My fave perch at home

Wedge pond.  After renting a SUP in Invermere, Carla decided she wanted to buy her own.

Wowee....what an evening and I didn't even get wet this time.

Camping at Sibbald flats
Chilling at Sibbald lake

I see you Mr. Squirrel

I love sunset hikes too

We have the same colour fur
There are Squirrels everywhere!

I'm a painted turtle!
Doesn't get much better than this....

The big dip

...and in the morning....
Waky, waky rise and shine!

I walked all the way around the lake!

...and even go my feet wet

Rainbow lunch....

Slow fried on the Trangia
I think she likes it!
And all I got were a few minnoes!

Too much paper work!

Alas.....I convinced them to give away Bean to a Peruvian lady who has one of her own.  She looked after Ron and Bean when we were away, so Carla can still visit Bean.  Now I really am the king of the castle.
Sometimes my older human gets up in the middle of the night.  I certainly don't have a sleeping problem!
Kim kicking my ass on a road ride.

The oldest human tried various fencing modifications to keep me inside the patio....to no avail. I know all the tricks!  Simplest solution turned out to be the best!  I could have saved him alot of time and trouble if he would have just asked me.

Katy Perry eat your heart out.

Lineham creek

On our way up Centenial ridge to commune amongst the larches....
The aspens down below were almost as good

I was a bit out of breath on this hike!

Quite the climb up to treeline tho.

And there they are!  The larches!

Great little picnic spot with no one around
They are the same colour as me!
