Mom still knows how to run :)

For International Women's Day, there was a Nike 5km race, for women only of course. I think they should call it International Dad's Babysitting Day. Moms run, dads babysit. Luckily Carla required no milk! So 4 months after giving birth; 4 kilos overwieight; and almost into her 4th decade.....and Maria came in......not 4th....but 5th! Out of 2,000 runners that is. Seemed a bit long for 5km, as the winning time was 17:45.....way slow! and Maria 3 minutes later.

Endorphin filled runners. Siobhan's 1st race in 5 or 6 years! She started near the back and timed herself...she was only 15 seconds behind Maria!

She's from Toronto and won a running scholarship in the US, back in her youth :) Great bandit outfit! as the race was sold out, when she went to enter.

Tia Karen's last weekend in Colombia

Well....It sure has been a great month with Tia Karen here. Sadly, she leaves on the red-eye, Air Canada flight to Toronto at midnight. I don't think Ramon really understands that she is leaving....boy is he gonna sad :(

This long weekend we went down to the hot weather climate at a 1000m, to a little town named Tobia, 2 hours from Bogota and stayed at a "posh" $50 a night hotel. With 3 cameras between us, we sure took alot of photos! Hope you enjoy them.
